Independent community activism is rare. Patrick came to the Miracle Mile Chamber of Commerce with the bold, simple & committed idea of organizing the food trucks which had descended on Wilshire Blvd. in the Miracle Mile. His intent was to insure that the trucks came and went with a minimum of disruption to traffic and honored parking/loading zones for the businesses on that block. Even more astonishing: the area would be clean. All trash picked up!!! The trucks varied each day and their names & menus posted on-line. The office buildings and the museum visitors had a tidy cornucopia of cuisines to choose from. Through all of this, Patrick has been present from keeping the sidewalk swept to going downtown to City Hall to smooth permits and process. He’s truly a Miracle and the Mile is delighted for his presence!
